This policy explains what personal information Arbicano collects when you visit arbicano.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Arbicano is a brand of Sweet & Snack Import Inc. (“Arbicano”, “we”, “us”).

Information we collect

• Order details: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number and the products you buy.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login details, saved addresses and order history.
• Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe. We see only the card type, the last four digits and the expiry date.
• Messages: what you send us through our contact, wholesale or partnership forms or by email.
• Email list: your email address if you join our list or tick the offers box at checkout.
• Device and usage details: your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use your information

• To process, pack, ship and support your orders, including order and shipping emails.
• To answer your questions and wholesale or partnership requests.
• To send offers and news, only if you agreed to receive them.
• To prevent fraud, keep our website secure and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
• To understand how our website is used and to improve our products and service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the shop, under their own privacy and security terms:

• Our payment processor (Stripe), to take payments and prevent fraud.
• Our shipping software and carriers (such as Shippo, USPS, UPS and FedEx), to show rates, create labels and deliver your order.
• Our website hosting, email and tax calculation providers, to run the website and send emails.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our customers.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged.

Cookies

We use cookies the shop needs to work, for example to keep items in your cart, keep you logged in and complete checkout. We may also use cookies that help us count visits and see which pages are popular. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.

Emails

We send order and shipping emails to every customer. Marketing emails go only to people who joined our list or ticked the offers box at checkout. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about your orders.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes, which is usually up to 7 years. We keep account details until you ask us to delete your account, and email list details until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• You can update your account details at any time in My Account.
• You can stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link.
• Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. We will not treat you differently for using them.

To make a request, email info@arbicano.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we answer within 45 days.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child gave us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Our website uses a secure connection (HTTPS), and payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified to the highest payment industry standard (PCI DSS Level 1). No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Important changes will be announced on this page.
